
Oral Presentation Guidelines

All oral presentations will take place on Tuesday, 02 December 2025, between 13:45 pm and 5:45 pm.​

Each parallel session will feature presentations arranged by theme.

Each session will run 75 minutes, with each presentation allocated a 15-minute timeslot.
-
An open-floor discussion will follow each thematic presentation session.
-
All speakers are required to remain for the whole session and engage in the discussion.​

Oral Presentation Preparation Guide
1. Session Themes & Speaker Arrangements
-
The venue and start time of your assigned session will be notified at least two weeks before the event.
-
Arrive at the assigned venue 15 minutes before your scheduled session, regardless of your presentation order.
-
Manage your time to stay within the 15-minute limit. Session staff will signal when 5 minutes and 1 minute remain.

A Windows desktop computer with internet access, a projector, and two microphones (one wireless and one wired) will be available in each session's venue.

2. Presentation Materials
-
You may use any layout (e.g., 16:9, 4:3) and format (e.g., .ppt, .pdf, .jpg).
-
Ensure your presentation includes the abstract title, names of authors and affiliations, and funding acknowledgement (if applicable).

Focus on a few key points and include clear, high-quality graphics to make an impact.

3. Backup Files Submission
-
Speakers are strongly encouraged to send a soft copy of their slide deck to expo-cfp@cuhk.edu.hk at least three working days before the Event Day 1. Alternatively, you may bring your files on the day of the event.

If your files exceed 8MB, share them via a cloud storage link (e.g., Office 365 OneDrive, Google Drive) which could be accessed without login and/or password.

All submitted files will remain private and will not be shared publicly without speakers's consent.
4. Event Recordings & Consent Policy
-
All thematic presentations and open floor discussions will be recorded and photographed.
-
The event archive may feature the recordings and photos.
-
If you prefer not to have your recording or photo published, notify the Working Committee at expo-cfp@cuhk.edu.hk.
